Original poster created in 1932 by Pierre Fix-Masseau depicting the French State (ETAT) Railways. The poster was a popular collectible and it became impossible for the artist to secure one for himself. He continually had to recreate the maquette. The posters reside at the Pompidou Center and the Musée de L’Affiche in Paris, and MOMA in NYC.
